MOVIE WEEKEND

I went to prison in 2000 and never watched a movie the whole time. Actually, I never watched T.V. either. I'm just now starting to watch movies, one of my passions, you know at home where I can pause it and smoke and so on. Anyway, that's six (6) years of movies to make up. I watched The Aviator, last night and Anger Management tonight. I enjoyed them both.
Howard Huges has always interested me and I found myself doing online research about him after the movie. He was crazy as a bed bug but a real man.
I really enjoyed the twists and implausible turns of Anger Management. Of course, even as old as he is, I still have a thing for Jack Nicholson. We would have had fun together, lol!!

yes, Jack has charm.

Okie, now you have to see, if you haven't already.

Fight Club and Requiem for a Dream

both brillient novels that the movies are based upon. I warn you, even though I know you are strong, Requiem is heavily written about addictions of all kinds. Especially heroin.

But they are both worth every second or veiwing pleasure. haha

need anymore ideas call me. I LOVE watching film.

The Aviator is indeed a first-rate biopic, and really the first one where I thought Leo was a great actor .. he was even better in The Departed this year

Ophelia, I loved Fight Club, it's one of the only movies I've seen since out of The Big House. My son Waylon borrowed it from a friend, a while back. That is the one with Edward Norton and Brad Pitt, right? I thought Edward was really good in American History X. Very hardcore, very controversial but I truly loved it and could relate. I've not seen Requiem for a Dream. What I've been doing (me bad)is downloading them off Limewire and watching them on my computer. I gave my DVD player,to my nephew when he broke his. It was a gift from Waylon so we could watch Fight Club, actually. But I love to climb into bed and watch a movie lately. My T.V. is in the L.V. and my computer and desk is in my bedroom. So, it works out. I'm gonna see if it's on line and check it out. Did you ever see Trainspotting?

reel fanatic, I have to agree with you. I've not been much of a fan but he became Howard Hughes who I am old enough to remember on actual T.V. He was quite the man and it is a fascinating story, I've always been enthralled with. Do you recommend The Departed?

trainspotting is a good one too. We download everything too haha
your right American History X was great, especially Edward Nortons performance.

Fear and Loathing Las Vegas? Johnney Depp and Benicio Del Toro are fucking off the wall.

Ophelia, I'd never heard of that Johnny Depp movie. But I normally like most things he does. I'll have to give it a whirl. I've not seen Trainspotting since it came out, I may have to watch it again. Most of what I really remember is the nasty bathroom and the baby on the ceiling. Pretty wierd. When I was kicking, I thought we watched a show about these big red crabs. They said we did not see it and I was nuts. I believe them! lol!
