MOVIE MARATHON 2

Pulp Fiction

What can I say...I fuckin' loved this movie! I've wanted to watch it for some time. I pulled the idea out of my ass last nite and watched it, finally. It is, of course, a bit mindless but it was in your face, was it not? I know, you're saying, "I can't believe she's not seen this movie before now?" Refer to the next post...

I've never seen Pulp Fiction, but then I've never seen Star Wars, either. I know, I know, I live under a rock. *sigh*

lynn, I saw Star Wars in the thatre when it first came out. Of course, it was rather state of the art then. I loved the whole series.

anonymous, I suppose something I should not have been doing which would keep me away from a shit load of good movies. Come to think of it, I have years upon years to make, of movie watching. Now, you've got me really thinking!

My wee head hurts with the mention of so many bad movies, I only liked pulp fiction when it had bruce Willis in it the rest of it was crap, Tarentino went doon hill fast.

"Pulp Fiction" is the best, the dialogue is genius, every line is quotable, have you seen "Reservoir Dogs"? It's way cool also.

on a defferent genre, i just watched "Jarheads" last night, it was pretty intertaining if nothging else, i like a movie that will make you laugh when you don't expect it.

I've seen it a few times. My fave scene is when they jabbed the hypo into her chest. The reactions from all of them was classic.

I saw Thurman and her parents when she was still shooting the film. That wasn't a wig. Her 'rents were attending a conference with the Dalai Lama here in Tucson (he was one of the speakers) and she came out to visit. (I was also attending the conference)

webmiztris, I may have to watch it again for posterity. All along, people have mentioned it or quoted from it and I had no clue. I'm not one to watch many movies more than once but I might have to see this flic again!

chuck, movie review blog, huh? Why don't you start it and I'll follow.I'll look up Resevoir Dogs pronto as I've not seen that one either. BTW, it's truly good to hear from you, my ol friend!

ophelia, I have a hard enough time getting people to read this shit. I gotta stoop to dirty pics and vids of Saddam hanging, lol! I just started this blog a little over a month ago, 1st week in Nov., I think and the hits are up 8000. It's not because I entertain them. Nope they want the dirt.

Lee Darling, you saw the Dalai Lama? I am so jealous but what is jealousy but a searing state of mind, right? lol I have to admit, when they were doing the adrenaline in the heart gig, my ass was on the edge watching.I've dealt with OD's but never done that. I can only imagine if I had to, I'd shit a brick.

Yep, did! It was a 5 day teaching on patience. I figured "how many times is he going to be here in TooStoned?" and being interested in Buddhism anyway, I went.
