~The Winds of Change Are Howling~
That's just way too freaky. Too real!
Jefe, it is pretty freaky. Maybe that's why I keep looking at it with fascination. He is pretty talented, huh?
Hey, Babs, I saw this man's work at the Brooklyn Museum. Seeing this stuff in person is a trip and a half!
once again, i think this man is brilliant. But the ones that are just faces would freak me out. The pregant woman is soooo life like (with the exception of scale). I can't beleive he got the right pull from the back to the belly. It's just amazing.
I do love his stuff. So beautiful. The version of his Dead Dad, so amazing. And as an artist and sculptor, I have full respect for his talents. I work for an ice carving studio, where we had to recreate the 8 ft tall pregnant woman for the Pea in the Pod store opening.
Rob K, you lucky bugger. I think I saw that one recording is from when he was at Brooklyn. If I'd known about it, I'd surely go. Now, if you see it again, please let me know, ok sweets? maybe we could go there and do coffee? Sounds like fun to me. It only takes me an hour to get to Brooklyn, ya know?
Stagnant Artist, honestly, that was brave of him to do his Dad like that. I don't think I could do it. But this guy's just more than talented, isn't he. I mean it's so more than just a mimic of the human anatomy. I am not an art monger but I'd love to own one of his pieces.Ice carving? Wow, that's pretty cool. Hopefully, you have pics on your blog, of your art, as I'd love to see it. I'll stop by and I thank you for stopping here. Don't be a stranger, ok?
suuuure, reply to rob and stangnant. lol... kidding ;)
